Media personality Muthee Kiengei has left Gatundu South Diocese Church where he has been serving since 2020 to start his own church.

The comedian-cum preacher was posted to the church after he was officially ordained.

In a recent video doing rounds on TikTok, Kiengei held a meeting with his Kiengei live media team to speak about the way forward.

Kiengei alias Pastor Ben said that it is his time now to become a bishop which was impossible for him in his previous church.

While speaking about why he left, Kiengei said he spent over sh60K every Sunday to serve God.

"Our church has no name yet but I have a foundation called Sympathy hands ministry where we help people.

It is God who called and ordained me and He has helped me," he said.

Kiengei denied making his money from church business.

"I was ordained two years ago. I want to be a bishop not to benefit myself but to serve a larger area of service. I have never eaten tithe for the past two years.

We use eight cars every day and the one that uses less fuel spends sh3k. All my team members are paid. Every Sunday I spent sh60k to serve my God. It is good to speak the truth and say the church has never funded me for that."

Kiengei also revealed that he was paid Sh3500 after service every Sunday.

"I was called to serve with my all, my money, my influence, and my family. I have never disrespected anyone or even tried dethroning anyone. I will not say much but my time to become a bishop is now," he said.
