Celebrities you didn't know have adopted kids

• Different people adopt for different reasons them among them infertility, love for big families, humanity and wanting to give a home to orphaned kids.

Most people would want to be parents, but not everyone as the privilege to be.

Some couples battle infertility among other medical problems while others intentionally decide not to be parents.

Such couples might opt to adopt kids.

There are also instances of relatives who decide to adopt kids left behind by a loved one when he/she passes away.

Below are celebrities who have adopted kids. They indeed do have hearts of gold.

1. Bahati

The celebrated artiste has adopted son known to many as Morgan.

He adopted Morgan from a children's home in Mathare.

Morgan was two years then and Bahati had visited the children's home for a thanksgiving show only for the two-year-old Morgan to say he wanted to go with him.

2. Mike Sonko

The former Nairobi governor has 3 adopted kids.

The governor recently introduced a young lady he adopted after she became an opharn.

"This young girl Janet Kaingi joined our family at the age of 5 after being orphaned from Nzeluni Village in Mwingi, Kitui County." wrote Sonko

Sonko and wife Primrose made the decision to adopt her. Jane quickly fit into the Mbuvi family and now years later has graduated.

"She's lived with us as our adopted daughter since then, we have taken her through school and today my family wishes to celebrate her with a special..."

He also adopted Satrine and Gift Osinya.

The duo lost their mum during an attack at a Likoni church in 2014.

At the time Satrine was a toddler when his mum got shot, he ended up with a bullet in the head.
