Comedian Mammito Eunice confirmed that she parted ways with comedian Eddie Butita a year ago.
In an interview with Mungai Eve, the comedian said they both agreed that it was best for them to go their separate ways.
"We broke up like a year ago. It's been a long time. We both decided that it was best to go separate," she said.
Asked if she would ever work with her ex-lover, Mammito said there is room since Butita is talented.
"We can definitely work together. He is really talented and I respect that. The industry is small and we might work together in the future," she said.
Speaking to Kameme TV, Mammito said she is currently single.
"I do not have a man in my life. I am single and any single man who is interested can hit my DM," she said.
Mammito was then asked what happened to her relationship with the comedian.
She responded by saying she had become beautiful after the relationship.
"I have God and I want to be with the love of God."
The two comedians had initially refused to speak on their relationship until recently.
They both are promoting their upcoming shows.
A while ago, Butita gave a hint that their relationship was still intact to the media when speaking to them during an event to raise money for Akuku Danger’s medical expenses back in March.
This was after a question concerning their relationship was posed, with Butita responding that since the subject required two individuals to respond, it should be asked to both of them.
However, he continued by stating that due to their hectic schedules, it will be challenging to interview the two.
After Mammito failed to acknowledge Butita’s birthday in September 2021, speculation of their breakup began to circulate.
It was odd because it was the first birthday she hadn’t publicly wished him since they began dating.
A day later, Mammito stopped following the comedian on Instagram, which led to more rumours.
