You have properly come across a young Kenyan man preparing 'mazigizaga' wearing a full face mask as he shows off his sharp culinary skills whilst using Swahili and sheng, that is the trending Chef wa Eastlando aka Jangu Hudheif and he is taking social media in a wave.

The young man has gained fame due to his hilarious, most times incomprehensible narrations of what he is doing in the kitchen as well the whole mystery surrounding his hidden identity.

Although most know him as a chef the young man has a hankering for fashion and truly hopes he can pursue to one day despite the fact that he dropped out of school due to financial constrains.

"My dream is to become a fashion designer. I have a deep passion for the field and dedicate a lot of my time to it,' started off the young man during an appearance that he made on The Sandwich Podcast. The chef went on to add that he used to sell second hand clothes (mitumba) while hustling and he was really good at it, "I had an eye for fashion, and my friends complimented me a lot" he added giving a little history on where his love for clothes stemmed from.

On why he hides his identity Hudheif started by highlighting,"I enjoy the freedom of being treated like any other person,"

He went on to add that even though he loves the fame that has come with his content creation he also loves feeling like a normal human being just walking around and enjoying his space without being bombarded by fans or people shoving cameras in his face.

"Although I’m famous for my content, I don’t want my freedom compromised. I' m here to show people my craft and all that na siwezi taka hii design sijui ukitembea wapi unacheki selfie, kuna time yako pia unatakaga your own time huwezi pata sijui umekaa Java au nini, unapata watu wanataka selfie.

Nikaona ndio niavoid vitu kaa hizo, wacha ni fiche sura yangu," Chef wa Eastlando stated before going on to use comedian turned philanthropist and digital content creator Eric Omondi as a clear reason why he feels hiding his identity is the best option.

"Loot at Comedian Eric Omondi, he cannot leave his place without being recognized and disturbed by people. That’s what I’m avoiding I don’t like what comes with fame. I prefer my life as it was before," the food content creator candidly said.
