While releasing her rate card for November, digital content creator Pritty Vishy took the moment to call out business people who take advantage of influencers.

Before we get into that, you should know Vishy doesn't come in cheap.

The TikToker apparently will be charging a 100 thousand for club hosting within Nairobi while brand endorsements will be going for 300 thousand shillings. Yeah, you read that correctly.

For graduations and birthday parties, Pritty Vishy will be charging 80 thousand while advertisement videos (her cheapest) will cut you back 75 thousand shillings.

In her rant, Vishy called out business people whose main objective is taking advantage of people because they feel like they're undeserving or not popular enough.

"I mean people are so funny... You meet a business persona that wants an influencer and they are like examples 'Come to my restaurant you advertise my hotel or something then we will give you food and drinks...'" started off the 21-year-old clearly triggered.

She went on to add that it was really disrespectful as it implied one doesn't have food and you're doing them a favour thus it's not a business agreement.

"Like yoooh kwani umeskia huwa nadoz njaa… convert that food and drink to money and pay me off!

It doesn't matter if we or I came to the industry as a socialite or kienyeji both parts needs consistency and maintenance…" Vishy insisted.

She went on to add, "Don't play with people's brands ata kama ni ya kienyeji bora it can sell you out there."

Speaking on influencer's pay and rate cards, about a week ago Nero Company CEO Anerlisa Muigai recently shocked the public when she shared her rate card on her Instagram stories.

According to Anerlisa's rate card she charges:

  • Post on the Main page > $6000 for 3 weeks 3 posts only.
  • Post on Stories for 24 hrs for small businesses $100 for 3 stories
  • Post on Stories for 24 hrs for corporate and companies $200 for 3 stories
  • Post on Stories 12 hrs > $65 for 3 stories
  • Mention on my main page under my Picture Post > $500 per Picture/Mention
  • Brand Ambassador > $100,000 for 3 months. (I will not accept any brand that includes nudity)
  • Appearance for promotion > $15,000 for 2.5hrs
  • Buy My social media Pages > $300,000

The equivalence of $600 is currently 72,800 Kenyan Shillings. Why would someone go ahead and use that money to do an advertisement on a page that does not have enough likes or rather that has a hidden like count?

If we're being honest, the prices listed on her rate card are quite pricey since her Instagram photos hardly hit close to a thousand likes.

Netizens found her rate card quite hilarious as she is not known to be a big brand influencer as well as the simple fact that having many followers doesn't automatically mean they can be translated into business.
