Controversial singer Ringtone Apoko has warned artistes like Bahati to stop copying his music style.

Speaking during the NTV Trend Show hosted by Amina, the self-proclaimed richest singer in Africa said Bahati wants to be like him.

He said the singer copies most of the things he does.

"People like Bahati always want to copy how I do things. They want to be like me and that is why I tell them bitter truths," he said.

He also said the singer even copy his shaving style but end up not looking handsome like him.

"I am using nothing and I am this handsome boy. I am natural. I have told the young ‘boys’ to leave me alone and stop copying my lifestyle," Ringtone said.

Ringtone went on to accuse the singer of gaining popularity through the gospel industry and then quitting after fame and money.

"Someone like Bahati is driving big cars and moving from one place to another. They gained valuable things in the gospel industry and later on shifted to secular music," he said.

"You see the cars they are driving; those are contributions from churches. That is why I have beef with them."

During the interview, Ringtone also called out comedian Eric Omondi referring to him as a broke comedian who is also not talented.

Apoko said he could employ Omondi as his compound manager at his Runda home.

"I told him to come I give him a job and he refused. I can employ him as a compound manager in my Runda home," Ringtone said.

Ringtone went on to state that the self-proclaimed President of comedy in Africa has no talent and is broke.

"Nothing else he can do. He does not have a talent so I can only hire him as a house boy. He wants to live a good life. He can't live in Runda and that is why he is always posting people's houses."

Asked how much he would pay Eric, Apoko said;

"I can give him Sh50k."
