Eric Omondi's cabinet announcement leaves Kenyans amazed (video)

• Kenyans were thrilled at the way he blended in different aspects of Ruto's new government in his skit.

Kenyans were left in stitches yesterday after comedian Eric Omondi imitated President William Ruto's cabinet announcement.

The comedian uploaded a three-minute video in which he unveiled a spoof version of the cabinet Ruto had yesterday. His admirers were in awe of his originality.

Omondi utilized his bodyguards and additional cast members who played religious authorities during the unveiling in his comedy.

With the first lady standing next to him, Omondi can be heard giving out the names of his proposed cabinet.

Comedian Dianah Daisy plays the first lady in the film, and her sole responsibility is to sanitize and anoint the potential Cabinet Secretaries with anointing oil.

As soon as she accomplishes that, those nominated start to fall one after another, suggesting that the anointing is doing its job.

During the unveiling, Omondi teamed up with comedian and content creator Mr. Mr K K Mwenyewe who has been mimicking Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to perfection.

The fictitious Riggy G runs off the rails in his brief address, outlining the difficulties his fictional administration has faced.

The president, in this case Eric Omondi, was forced to step in and defuse the situation after Riggy G's outburst so that he could name his cabinet.
