Diamond Platnumz’s officially photographer and videographer Lukamba has officially ended his relationship with his employer – WCB Wasafi.

On Sunday, Lukamba launched his own company dubbed Imagix Media, signaling a fresh start after parting ways with the Chibu Dangote owned record label.

According to the talented photographer, his company will be dealing with video related content – weddings, photo-shoots, documentaries and movies.

“Production requires knowledgeable people. The person who used to own this company was unable to run it and he sold it to me. I have spent almost Tsh200 million on this project,” Lukamba explained.

During the launch, Lukamba said that he is still in good books with his former Diamond Platnumz despite his decision to exit his company.

“As for me I am still in good terms with Diamond and WCB Wasafi and that why I have invited them to this launch. They are still family. But at the end of the day, those who want to support will support and those who don’t want, then we won’t force them,” the videographer insisted.

Lukamba joined WCB Wasafi to replace Diamond’s first official photographer called Kifesi who also ditched WCB Wasafi to start his own production company – Kifesi photography.

On April 1st 2018, Kifesi announced that he had decided t part ways with WCB Wasafi after a period of 5 years to pursue his dream life.

“Today being a holy day and a day of worship for me, it’s a day that I have decided to make a decision that will change my life. I have decided to stop working as Diamond’s photographer and an employee of WCB. I’m leaving a job that is a dream to many young people out there but I see it that my 4/5 years of working here is enough for me to leave a chance for other young people and I have decided to follow my heart,” he said.

In June 2022, Lukamba launched ventured into the music industry complete with a new single.

The videographer turned singer also appealed to Tanzanian musicians to unite in order to compete with their fellow artistes from Nigerian.
