As their wedding day approaches, Catherine Harding, the partner of Arsenal and Italy player Jorginho, surprised many by joking during their conversation in the car, saying she is considering canceling marrying the player.
In a video that has since been deleted from her Instagram page, she jokingly stated that she doesn't expect to marry Jorginho because the player has a lot of money and immense wealth, which makes her nervous about accepting a marriage with him.
Jorginho was driving the car, with the couple seated inside their vehicle, while the model recorded them having amusing conversations.
The clip showed Harding telling her fiance that she doesn't think they can be together, before the 32-year-old Italian midfielder guessed wrongly, before the singer and model eventually revealed the reason, saying:
"You've got too much money ... [you're] too rich," before the recently married couple burst into laughter immediately afterward.
According to Capology statistics, Jorginho is the 12th highest-paid player at Arsenal, earning a salary of £110,000 per week, equivalent to Ksh 18.4M per week.
The Italian international player signed for the Gunners in January 2023 for a reported fee of £12 million, signing a one-and-a-half-year contract with an option for another year.
Jorginho joined the North London club after four seasons at Chelsea, where he won the Champions League and Europa League.
According to several reports, Jorginho and Catherine Harding have been dating since 2020.
