Carol Sonnie has revealed that life as a single mother has been tough. She says she has to be there for her daughter, Keilah and play both the role of a mother and a father.

Sonnie and Kendrick Mulamwah broke up in December 2021 just a few months after welcoming baby Keilah.

Speaking to online media platforms Sonnie said, I wouldn't lie that it is easy, it has been tough. It has not been easy because I have to play both the role of a mother and a father. Even when life is tough I must go out there and look for means to provide for my baby," she said.

Sonnie revealed that she had not shut the door yet on love saying she loves the feeling of being loved.

"I have not given up on love because it feels good to be loved."

Last month, Sonnie and Mulamwah denied rumors that the two had buried the hatchet and had gotten back together.

This was after Mulamwah had posted photos and videos of them together. He captioned the video;

"Keilah is our daughter."

The content creator revealed that the funnyman had gatecrashed her photoshoot session with spoken word artist and photographer, Story Za Kapedo.

The timing was awful given that the two had aired their dirty linen in public and Sonnie termed Mulamwah's posts as 'disrespectful'

She listed down the requirements Mulamwah needs to do so she can forgive him. Among them is to publicly apologize to her family, daughter and her fans. The mother of one called upon him to man up and own up to his mistakes.

"Apologise to your daughter, apologize to my family, apologize to your fans for misleading and for once speak the truth..." she wrote.

"Once again, nothing has been sorted between us. Let him man up and take full responsibility."
