Media personality and gospels singer Joyce Omondi has released a comeback single after a long hiatus from the social scene and music altogether.

Joyce was mourning the death of her father.

In a heartwarming tribute, Joyce wrote, "Among the greatest titles of my life is the privilege of being the daughter of this incredibly great man. He is everything I could ever pray for and desire in a father. The profound depth of his love, care, support and covering is the kind only a few are privileged to receive."

Opening up about her loss, Joyce spoke candidly about it, "There is an enormous hole in my heart now that our heavenly Father whom he taught me to love and serve has called him home. Only God can fill this void because the legacy of who my daddy was is almost larger than life."

She continued, "I know the sound of his endearing laugh is ringing throughout the streets of gold and one day I will feel the warmth of his loving embrace for eternity."

To honour that legacy, Joyce released a song dedicated to her late dad titled, Jibu.

Joyce announced, "I finally found the courage to go back to the studio. This song #JIBU literally captures my heart and mind as a testament of who God has been to me, who He is even now and who He shall always be. "

She added, "Hallelujah, our pain is not wasted. JIBU is my testimony and tribute to my Daddy.

It does not matter what your personal deficiency is, or whether it be a hundred and one different things, God has always one sufficient answer, His Son Jesus Christ, and he is the answer to every need.”
