Gospel artiste Joyce Omondi says despite spending 2021 in tears and brokenness she is optimistic of 2022 being a blessed year.

In June 2021 the artiste lost her dad, something that deeply affected her given she was a daddy's girl. Taking to her socials, Joyce said she is still standing because of God's unending grace.

"To be honest, I spent most of 2021 in tears and brokenness. But as the year comes to an end, my heart is filled with gratitude because I know that I'm standing here only because of God's grace đź’Ż.

I am experiencing that there is truly no testimony without the test. And because faith is not an emotion but a decision to stand on God's word, I am experiencing God's love and grace a new.

Life will always be difficult, but I can testify that God is still good and He is the lifter of my head. I also choose to believe there will be many unexpected blessings from the trials so many of us have faced this year.

So I look forward to #2022 knowing that #Godsgotme and #joywillcome. Thank you Jesus for your grace, faithfulness, and mercy in #2021.

Thank you that we can walk into #2022 with hope, hand in hand with you. Blessed night everybody! May the Lord bless and keep you wherever you are, and grant you a wonderful new year."
