Citizen TV News anchor Waihiga Mwaura is delighted by the news of his wife Joyce Omondi joining the station.
Joyce Omondi will be hosting the Rauka show after the exit of Kambua Manundu, who had served in the position for 12 years.
In a message on his social media, Waihiga Mwaura welcomed Joyce back to the show, where it all began.
"Boom. Set your alarm clocks for this Sunday at 6 am as @joyceomondi makes a come-back on Rauka. Where it all began - almost a decade ago," Waihiga penned.
Joyce Omondi not only kick-started her career at Citizen TV but also met the love of his life there.
In 2012, Waihiga Mwaura met Joyce Omondi on a Sunday morning when she was leaving the set of Rauka show.
Months later, Waihiga invited Joyce to his birthday but she didn’t make it.
When it was Joyce's turn Waihiga turned up for the birthday party and after that, they started dating.
