Mwalimu King'ang'i has urged his co-host Maina Kageni to vie for the Nairobi Women Rep seat.

According to Mwalimu, Maina would win the seat asubuhi na mapema. Adding that one does not have to be a woman to vie for the seat.

"Na kwani where is Maina Kageni? Ama he is out there printing campaign posters?

Last time he almost vied for the Women Representative seat. The people can vote for him. He doesn't need to be a lady to be a women rep," Mwalimu said during the Morning Kiss.

Mwalimu urged Mike to also consider vying for a political seat in Coast as they already know him.

"Mike go and vie for a political seat, the ground is calling. Focus on the youth and the women and you will win the seat very early in the morning."

Mike was however adamant saying he is not interested

"I do not want to be anything."

In 2017 Maina Kageni was left surprised after someone created posters of him vying for the Nairobi Women Rep seat.

Many argued that the love and affection he has for women could have won him that seat.

“I didn’t take it seriously when people said I need to run for women representative.

But after much thought and consideration I’ve realised that the demand is real and this is the time to make a move,” Maina stated in a recording at the time

He revealed that his symbol for campaigning would be a wig which he stated was the ultimate representation of the beauty of a Nairobi woman.
