Betty Kyallo hasn't had the best start to her year as far as relationships go.

The mother of one whose professional life is soaring at the moment broke up with debonair lawyer Nick Ndeda, something we only confirmed last week.

This past weekend, Betty stirred up some confusion on her Instagram page when she responded to a comment a fan had made on her page.

The fan had written that men needed to respect their lovers as far as relationship matters go. But the fan didn't stop there, they also touched on the former TV anchor being 'left' by Nick.

"Wababa,inabidi watuheshimu.Mbaba anakupeleka hadi kwao then anakuacha njaanuary. Surely😂😂😂," the fan identified as Josephine wrote.

The comment would garner a lot of attention from Betty's own followers causing the celeb to weigh in.

She did that and more, causing bewilderment among fans as to what had exactly had transpired between Nick and her?

"@jonijo630 Nani aliachwa?😂😂😂," Betty Kyallo responded.

Some wondered whether her message implied whether the relationship was still ongoing rather than the far simpler (and more plausible) answer that she had dumped Nick.

But I think that Betty was clearly referencing the fact that she had ended the relationship.
