A viral video where former President Uhuru Kenyatta turns up amongst a crowd at the Jockey Club and fist bumps while taking selfies is trending.

The former Head of State Sunday, July 23 attended the closing ceremony of the Jockey Club of Kenya 2022-23 Season, at the Ngong Race Course and Golf Park in Nairobi.

In the video, the Ex-President approaches several revelers shaking their hands as others take selfies with him.

Mr. Kenhyatta indulges all of their requests and smiles as Kenyans attending the fete tell him they miss him. As he is exiting the club, Uhuru continues to walk calmly shaking more hands, pausing.

The 61-year-old this past weekend was in the news protesting a raid conducted at his son's Karen home.

A special unit enraged the former President who called out the government for going after his family and dared President William Ruto to face him and leave his family alone.

Uhuru said that he protected the country while serving as the fourth president but he will now protect his family. He asked President William Ruto to instead face his head and leave his family alone.
