• This came about after the DP, popularly nicknamed Riggy G took light-hearted jabs at Alliance Boys Alumni National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah.

Senate Speaker Amos Kingi excited the crowd gathered for the National Prayer Breakfast after he dished out delicious info on Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's relationship with his wife Pastor Dorcas Gachagua.

According to Amos Kingi, Gachagua didn't really rope in Dorcas as he usually brags.

This came about after the DP, popularly nicknamed Riggy G took light-hearted jabs at Alliance Boys Alumni National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah, during the just concluded National Prayer Breakfast.

Riggy G bragged about finishing school with both the papers and the girl of his dreams as opposed to other guys who just walked out with papers, even though he wasn't in a prestigious high school.

“Your Excellency, (referring to President Ruto), you and I need to reconcile with Kimani Ichung’wah because he hasn't been very nice to us. As you all know, Kimani was in Alliance, and every chance he is given an opportunity to speak he's always picking on me and the president because we were in schools one doesn't even want to mention or think about.

Always trying to intimidate us even though we are seniors.

Every time he gets the chance to speak he never fails to remind us about his time at Alliance Boys. But let me tell you, even though you were there and I wasn't you should respect me.

Hiyo Alliance yako... Mimi niliingia hiyo Alliance yako, Alliance girls na nikachanganya mtoto wa wenyewe na nikamueka box ni bibi yangu leo, (I entered that same Alliance and managed to confuse a lady who is now my wife),” Gachagua said in his usual humorous way which had the crowd in bouts of laughter.

The DP followed his statements up by adding, "So, between me and these guys who went to Alliance Boys, who is more superior? I didn’t just put my wife in a box for the past 35 years, she has been in my house,”

Taking the stage after the DP, Amos went on to reveal he had a special message from Pastor Dorcas herself as she'd entrusted him with the task of responding to her husband's remarks.

“Before I move the vote of thanks, allow me to be the advocate of Pastor Dorcas Gachagua because she doesn’t have a right of reply, having already spoken," started off Senate Speaker.

He went on to reveal that Dorcas wished him to correct her husband and let it be known that she is the one who actually pursued the DP and cemented their relationship.

"According to Mama Dorcas, yeye ndiye aliingiza deputy president box (according to Lady Dorcas, she is the one who made the first move),” Amos Kingi said eliciting more laughter and applause from the crowd.

You really have to love this couple.
