Isaac Mwaura's wife celebrates miracle son's growth

Njiru weighed 800grams when he was born and left the hospital weighing 1.8kgs.

Isaac Mwaura's wife, Mukami Mwaura has celebrated her son's growth in a cute testimony. The politician and his wife welcomed triplets back in 2017 but sadly lost two of them months later after being admitted to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Her son, Njiru is six years and the parents have all the reasons to celebrate.

Through her social media platforms, Mukami recounted the day her son was discharged from the hospital 10 weeks after he was prematurely born. Njiru weighed 800 grams when he was born and left the hospital weighing 1.8 kg.

Mukami recounted that her son survived Pneumonia among other hospital infections during the period.

"6 years ago on this Day Master Njiru left the hospital where he had stayed for 10 weeks Weighing 1.8kgs from a low of 800g ❤❤...

He had survived the Intensive Care Unit, Pneumonia, Jaundice, Several infections and he had had several blood Transfusions," she wrote.

Mukami who also shared several photos from the time her son was in the hospital described her son as a little miracle.

"Isn't this the testimony of a true Warrior, My little Miracle... All I can say is Thank You God for giving me an opportunity to experience this miracle," she said.

Two months ago during Njiru's sixth birthday, Mukami also paid tributes to her two children who unfortunately did not make it.

"Six years ago at exactly 10.10 am my life changed forever, my miracle Babies arrived and it was such an overwhelming experience. My life became so full and Rich. Even with all the pain and grief that came with the loss of your brother and sister, I would never have it any other way," she wrote.

Mukami added that her son gives her a reason to be alive every day describing him as a fighter and a warrior.

"Happy Birthday to my 1 kg miracle, Njiru, My fighter, and my warrior! The one person who has proven that the tiniest gifts come in the most little packages.

My little best friend who likes demanding and throwing tantrums when he doesn't get his way...My pride and joy. Am so proud of the person you are becoming."

She went on to encourage parents to have preterm babies adding that God works miracles.
