"As you are aware, our presidential candidate is one among four Kenyans who are seeking the highest office in the land to transform our country and make Kenya an economist giant," read part of the statement.

Wajackoyah said he would address the nation after the president is announced.

"The citizenry exercised the first phase, and the second phase by the IEBC, the body constitutionally mandated to tally the votes and announce a winner. Our candidate will address the nation after the official announcement by IEBC," he said.

The presidential race had attracted four candidates; UDA party leader William Ruto, Azimio's Raila Odinga, and Agano party leader Waihiga Mwaure.

However, Mwaure conceded defeat and threw his weight behind UDA presidential candidate William Ruto.

Mwaure said he has seen the figures displayed by IEBC are in favour of Ruto and he was in agreement with UDA's manifesto.

"After deep discussions with our teams at Bomas, we have been following the ongoing process and indicate that the figures there are and have consistently and undoubtedly been in favour of William Ruto," he said.
