Finally, the much anticipated Drip Fest aka Drip goes Savage by Savara and Radio Africa events is here!
The event will be taking place this coming Sunday, June 12 at the Nairobi Street Kitchen, featuring Sauti Sol's Savara Mudigi.
The award-winning musician cum producer will be launching his new album 'Savage Level' at the drip fest.
Speaking on The Morning Kiss, an excited Savara said he cannot wait to perform his 14-song album for the first time ever.
What should his fans expect from the show?
"I just wanna interact with fans, especially with this album, I am fascinated with how the fans are going to interact with the album. I want it to be like a fellowship because this is the first time I am performing for them," Savara said.
Savara says after all these years in the industry, he feels like this is the first time fans have understood who he is via his 'Savage Level' album.
"Through my album, people have understood who I am." He said. Adding, "it took me a year to do this album since it is a Covid-19 baby and I think this is the first time people are going to understand who I am."
The 'Balance' singer also touched on mental health revealing that even Sauti Sol has a life coach and someone they talk to when they have issues.
He called on everyone to always speak up and seek help whenever they feel overwhelmed or struggling with anything in life.
"So many men out there hawabongi, a friend of mine last year died alijiua na mimi sikuwai reach out and I felt so bad." Savara said.
He called on ladies to always give a listening ear to men saying sometimes that's all men need.
