Watch: Viral video of Ruto and Sudi in Dubai causes online stir

A video of the mheshimiwas at the Dubai Fountain has caused a stir online.

• This comes at a time when netizens were wondering where the DP has been in the last few days.

Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday 3, February 2022 was in Dubai to visit Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria.

The MP is admitted to a Dubai hospital where he is nursing third-degree burns he sustained on his feet.

Kuria took to his Facebook page to reveal that the country's second in command was in Dubai where he also paid him a courtesy call.

"Today I was visited by H.E the Deputy President William Ruto and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi in Dubai," he said.

Kuria is planning his homecoming scheduled for February 19.

He added, "I updated them on my recovery progress and formally invited them to join me and all Kenyans during the February 19th thanksgiving prayer day in Thika," he said.

This comes at a time when netizens were wondering where the DP has been in the last few days. Well, a video of the mheshimiwa at the Dubai Fountain alongside Sudi has caused a stir online.

The Dubai Fountain is a choreographed fountain system located on the 12 hectares (30 acre) manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of Downtown Dubai. 

It can spray 22,000 gallons (83,000 litres) of water in the air at any moment. More than 6,600 lights and 25 color projectors have been installed. The fountain contains five circles of different sizes and two arcs. 

The DP is expected back in the country soon to continue with his campaigns across the country.

In a past visit, Ruto hang out with Nusret Gökçe, nicknamed Salt Bae, a Turkish butcher, chef and restaurateur, who operates Nusr-Et, a chain of steak houses.  

“Hustler Salt Bae has created a successful hustle out of salt, nyama and a knife,” said Ruto as he challenged entrepreneurs in Kenyatta, Burma, Dagoretti Markets and others to up their game in the meat business.
