Politician Karen Nyamu has set her eyes on the Nairobi Senator seat.

To bag that position she will have to do some serious campaigns complete with rallies where artistes will perform.

In an interview with Mpasho, Karen explained that her baby daddy mugithii star Samidoh may not be part of the talent at those political rallies.

That is because she has very few plans to hold huge political rallies that will necessitate performances.

Karen also revealed that her bae may not be a member of UDA or prescribe to its manifesto.

However, she hopes he can change his mind.

"Last time I vied for Nairobi women rep I missed it very narrowly but this time we will get the Senate position," Karen said.

This is despite her being heavily pregnant and will have a newborn closer to the election date.

"I have been pregnant before and I did not stop working, I worked till the very last day before I delivered my baby. So I do not see any difference. Campaigning is just a job like any other."

Laying out her plans for Nairobi as an aspiring senator, Karen explained, "Nairobi gets a lot of revenues from the government and collects a lot of money from licences and all the revenue channels we have in the county but that money is not felt on the ground."

She added, "Since the work of a senator is over-sighting the county government I will be making sure that the Nairobians feel the services of their county government and the money has an effect on its people."
