Sports CS Amina Mohammed lost her husband Khalid Hossain Ahmed on July 29.

The late Ahmed was buried on the same day according to the traditions of the Muslim religion. 

After holding special prayers at the Masjid Noor Mosque in South C, Amina's husband was buried at the family’s home in Lukenya. 

The prayers and burial was an exclusive event, attended by close family members and officials from the Ministry of sports and Foreign Affairs. 

The media did not have access to the venue of the burial.

Days after the burial, a Pphoto of Ahmed's simple grave has emerged.
