The first-ever photo of the VIP section of the SGR train has ignited mixed reactions from Netizens..
The VIP coach's luxurious feel was being enjoyed by dignitaries on the way to their way to Naivasha.
Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen shared the photos his social media.
He was on a familiarization tour of the SGR's phase 2A. Murkomen was accompanied by a Chinese delegation.
“Boarding the passenger train from Nairobi to Suswa to visit the Naivasha Inland Depot, together with the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Zhou Pingjian,” the CS shared.
Also present was the Chairman and Management of the Kenya Railways and Kenya Ports Authority."
Kenyans on Twitter were shocked at the type of setting that VIPs pay for the luxury in the VIP section compared to other areas of the passenger train.
