After alighting at Kitengela police station, the man while loosing his grip explained to the Kitengela Ocs , David Ole Shani on what had occured before.
With the investigations carried out , the robbed man identified as Emanuel Wamalwa ,32 worked as security personnel in one of the local night spots.
It said that he had been trailing the woman after she stole a lumpsum of money from him and his uncle after spiking his drink two weeks prior.
Wamalwa allegedly stated that the woman was working as a barmaid in a small pub along switching her roles in an attempt to cover her trails.
The claimed" Mchele babe "defended herself saying that the man had refused to settle his 1,750 alcohol bill.
The matter is still under investigation.
It appears most cases of spiking are done by female criminals, but men are catching up on the vice.
In April, 4 men were arrested for drugging almost all the passengers on a bus and stealing from them.
According to a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the bus was approaching Nairobi from western Kenya when the driver noticed the passengers were asleep except for two men moving inside the bus.
He got suspicious, swerved off the highway, and drove into Kabete police station.
