Police officers at Isibania police station have recovered two sacks of bhang and arrested one suspect.

They were acting on a tip-off from a member of the public.

"The suspect was arrested along Motemorabu-Mabera road with sacks of the narcotics drugs with an estimated street value of Sh420,000," NPS said.

The drugs were fastened on a motorbike the suspect was riding.

"We lauds efforts by the public in ridding communities of narcotic drugs and substances," National Police Service said.
