Tanzanian singer Harmonize has announced that he is set to release a 'weed' song before the year ends.
According to his recent post on his Insta stories, the Konde Gang CEO swore that it was one of his main projects this month.
Harmoninze said;
"This December if I don't release a song about weed, shoot me."
Harmonize has in the past been summoned for illegally using weed.
In a post he put on his Instagram account and later pulled it down, Harmonize denied ever smoking bhang in his life but cigarette.
He also deleted all pictures he posted smoking.
Tanzania is known for maintaining the moral fabric of its nation especially in the entertainment industry. Some songs can not be played in country.
Harmonize attracted the government attention after posting photos of him smoking substances that was suspected to be weed.
The Tanzanian government, through its Dar Es Salaam Regional commissioner Paul Makonda, said;
"I have seen one guy in Ghana and the smoke he was exhaling looks like he is smoking weed. I have spoken to the Ghanaian governor to help me investigate harmonize is he is smoking weed or a cigarette.
If at all it is weed, immediately he steps in Tanzania we are going to prison. We cannot try to kill drug abuse and you are enjoying it. Jail will be a lesson to him and other Tanzanians."
Here is what Tanzanians are saying;
jamesjimallan: Kuwa makini chali wangu. kumbuka upo DAR es Salam na sio califonia. huku watu wanaeza kukuelewa fasta kuliko huko Jamaica.
rashow_music: Serikali haioni huyu mtu anapiga prom ya bangi.
shuu328: Wanaogopa kuvuta Bangi hadharani tutaivuta kwenye nyimbo za Konde.
