Marijuana is on the top trend after U.S president,Joe Biden,seemed to have legalised it

There has been a fight over  passing marijuana right to smoke in Kenya and one of the presidential  candidate fought so hard for that agenda .

Smoking weed in Kenya is illegal and anyone found with it undergoes a fine of Ksh 250,000 in addition to being charged with possession of the narcotic.

The charges for bhang possession vary from Ksh 2,000 to an unstipulated amount of money depending on the weight and valuation of the drug.

Marijuana refers to the dried leaves, flowers, stems, and seeds from the Cannabis sativa or Cannabis Indica plant.

People smoke marijuana in hand-rolled cigarettes, in pipes or water pipes and in blunts.

Marijuana can also be mixed in food (edibles), such as brownies, cookies, and candy, or brewed as a tea.

People also smoke or eat different forms of marijuana extracts, which deliver a large amount of THC and can be potentially more dangerous.

well,most people rely on it for different reasons but to utmost users will defend it to be good unlike other drugs.

There are a lot of assumptions about marijuana but well every drug has its own side effects.

A known Kenyan rapper,Octopizzo,earlier requested President William Ruto to legalise it claiming that weed had no bad side effects .

The musician went a head and stated that it does not make sense to arrest someone for a fifty bob blunt or to fine someone a lot of cash. 

Today, marijuana use is on the rise among all adult age groups, both sexes, and pregnant women.

People ages 18 to 25 have the highest rate of use.

In states where legal, marijuana is a fast growing industry with sales to individuals over 21 in retail stores, wineries, breweries, coffee shops, dispensaries, online, as well as grown at home.
