• Maribe, on Sunday, re-shared Instagram stories congratulating her for allegedly landing the huge role in the new government.

• Maribe rubbished claims that she is working at Riggy G's office.

Jacque Maribe has changed tune and distanced herself from the Director of Communications role at the Office of the Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua.

This is after numerous phone calls and congratulatory messages from her fans and friends.

On Sunday, the former Citizen TV's anchor, re-shared Instagram stories that were supposedly congratulating her for allegedly landing the huge role in the new government.

Maribe shared a message that was previously shared on social media platforms by one of her friends, Nzau Ya Musau.

In the message, Jacque is allegedly the incoming Director of communications at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's office.

"Breaking: Incoming Director of communications Riggy G's office Jacque Maribe gathers the courage, extract the commitment of incoming KK CS for propaganda Dennis Itumbi for a walk down the isle."

She captioned the messages;

"Mambo tu ya God."

Well, in her recent posts, the mom of one rubbished the claims that she is working at Riggy G's office writing,

"l am not the Director of Communications at the Deputy President's Office. Thank you for the well wishes, calls and texts. Mambo ya God," she wrote.

Maribe who has been low key recently noted that she is not about to give up on the fight to be successful.

"This life no balance. When good things happen in your life is when saitan (satan) sends his agents on overdrive. Tupo site! We are going to no evil destination. God is ever so faithful. Unone, ukonde, wewe (you add weight or lose weight) be happy with your life (and) leave others to their happiness."

One must then ask, "Why did she repost the congratulatory messages if there was nothing attached to it."
