The list of celebrities with college degrees is longer than you think.

Here, we will look at where a few notables earned their degree and what they studied, and what they are currently doing.

Some went on to pursue careers that were totally unrelated to their current professions while there's still no denying that some of their degrees set them up for fame and riches.

1. Corazon Kwamboka

Beauty and brains are the words you can use to describe the prolific socialite. She went to The University of Nairobi where he studied law.

She passed her law exams and got admitted to the Kenyan Bar. However, Kwamboka’s activities on social media have masked her profession even though she is not a practicing lawyer.

People associate her with her gorgeous body and luxury lifestyle. She is currently a businesswoman and social media influencer.

2. Nameless

The multiple award-winning pop artiste is a graduate of the University of Nairobi where he studied architecture.

The multiple award-winning pop artiste is a graduate of the University of Nairobi where he studied architecture.

One of his major projects as an architect is the Sh 4 billion Hub Shopping Mall in Karen. Apart from being an architect, he is a Kenyan top musician.

3. Wahu

She enrolled for a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at the University of Nairobi and later went back to pursue a Master's Degree in Communication.

It was during her undergraduate years that she thought of becoming a professional singer. Meeting her later-to-be husband while performing also helped cement her conviction in the music industry. 

She is currently a musician and songwriter and businesswoman as she owns a salon called Afrosiri.

4. Sanaipei Tande

She is a trained pharmacist at Kenya Medical Training Institute. She is currently a songwriter, radio personality, entertainer,  karaoke host, and renowned actress.

She rose to fame after winning the East Africa Coca-Cola Popstars Talent Search together with her two bandmates in 2004.

5. Njugush

Timothy Kinmani Ndegwa popularly known as Njugush went to the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) for journalism studies because it was relatively affordable for his family.

The famous Njugush is currently an accomplished Kenyan comedian, influencer, MC, and mentor.

The star rose to fame for starring on the Real House Helps of Kawangware, a TV comedy-drama series that initially premiered on KTN and later on NTV.

6. Jalangoo

Felix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalango graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Community Development.

Jalang'o might be your favorite comedian, but his rise to fame was not a walk in the park. Like most celebrities, he rose from the lowest socio-economic cadre to the top creme of society.

He is a story of determination and the fruits it begets as he is a Member of Parliament of Langata constituency.

7.  Sarah Hassan

She got her Bachelor's degree of Science in Actuarial Science at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

However, the actress did not work a single day in her specialty. Having chosen the star path, Sarah Hassan managed to graduate from New York Film School in 2016.

8. Vera Sidika

Kenya's most googled socialite attended Kenyatta University in 2009, where she pursued her degree in Art & Design, which developed her passion and shaped her career path.

She is currently a businesswoman and an upcoming musician as well as a TV reality star.

9.  Eric Omondi

Eric joined Daystar University and pursued a course in Mass Communication and Journalism.

Omondi is a comedian and an upcoming human rights activist following everything that he has been doing lately.

YouTuber and content creator popularly known for her travel and lifestyle vlogs is not only beautiful but brainy.

Natalie Tewa is an Architectural Engineering graduate from the University of Leeds in the UK. She is a lifestyle content creator and a social media influencer.
