Two weeks ago, Akorino twins, Peter and Teddy Kimathi shocked people after claiming they were dating the same woman, Emily.
The pregnant woman had told YouTuber Nicholas Kioko that she was dating twins and had no idea who is the father of her child is.
"I donβt who is responsible for this pregnancy because we share everything and sleep in one bed," she said.
Well, the twins have come out to state that their story was not true but clout chasing.
Speaking on their YouTube channel, Teddy said they decided to come out and reveal the truth after receiving backlash from the public and family members.
"The truth is the whole thing was a lie, it was all for clout. We were amazed by the insults we received from netizens to the extent that we were honestly shocked."
Teddy added they are unemployed and they were just looking for a way to make ends meet.
"We have money problems and we were looking for a way to make money so I sat down with Peter and we came up with the story but we have received rejection."
Teddy added that Emily is actually in a relationship with his twin Peter.
"Emily is with Peter and theyβre expecting a child together. I am the one who was third wheeling but it was all YouTube content," he said while laughing.
