Legendary Kamba artiste Ken Wa Maria has said he is content with one wife and would never consider marrying a second one. E.V.E.R.
The 'Fundamentals' hitmaker was speaking during an interview with Mseto East Africa.
"I am a father of two.
I have been married to the same woman for the last 21 years. One woman is enough for me."
Asked on how he has remained relevant yet many artistes who came after him have parted ways or completely left music, he says, "Most artistes fail due to coming late to shows, not paying backup artistes, drugs, etc.
I have remained relevant because of my discipline, even if you are talented and you are not disciplined then it's zero work."
His advice to politicians who are venturing into politics, Ken noted, "You can be a politician and still be an artiste.
Being a politician you must be taking care of people's needs, even if you are big artiste who never cared about people you can never win."
