Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Mike says this started out as a hobby.

"The name Professor Of Style came from my styling on Instagram.

Everyone was always complimenting my style both locally and internationally.

They loved how deeply I understood fashion and came up with a good style which anyone can create and be comfortable for any occasion and any season because style is eternal.

It has been more than 3 years since I started posting style tips and style ideas on Instagram.

I could get random messages from strangers and also some of my friends who wanted help in choosing the best outfit choice for a certain occasion.

And how to style and that's how I discovered my interest in fashion and image consultancy.

Mike says being winning the 'Most stylish people's choice award for couture Africa was a lifetime opportunity that has opened doors for him.,

"When I was nominated and won it boosted me to venture into men’s wear which has elevated since then.

My target audience is any gentleman who wants to up their game and stands out from the crowd.

My aim is to inspire guys to dress better with what they have and they don’t have to buy an expensive outfit to look good.

It’s a matter of understanding the rules of styling."

Mike has commended the Kenyan fashion industry saying it has really grown which is a positive thing for everybody.

"Kenyan fashion has always been on point the way people dress up it’s very encouraging.

I would advise any upcoming fashionista out there that they should just start with what they have and own their uniqueness.

Personally, I like to show versatility. I cherish all styles  I like to make it all my own, unique, simple but significant."

The sky is the limit for Mike.
