"Hii Roho imebaki ni ya Damu tu."

These were the words of Citizen TV news anchor Trevor Ombija, as he shared his biggest heartbreak.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho, Trevor Ombija said that he is not currently interested in dating as he is healing from a hurtful break up.

"I was badly heart broken, i am single, not looking. I need to fix myself first. Everybody deserves the best version of the other person.

Don't go into a relationship when you are broken. Right now I will admit it," he said.

Trevor shared details on how a 10-year relationship had ups and downs, and in the end, it collapsed right before an official marriage.

"I am from a relationship that lasted 10 years. It is one of those relationships that were over, then they are back again

I actually took dowry to her home on December 5,2015, then akaniacha. She said that she needs to find herself," he shared.

Just like any other person who is in love, Trevor tried to salvage the relationship, but it was all in vain.

"Nilijaribu kuforce issues for a while! You know when you are dumped and then you try to insist that you can work it out. Ukiachwa achika. I have accepted and am fixing myself."

But Trevor did not demand the money and other valuable items he had paid to the family of his lover.

"Thats being petty, I left it. But we are still very good friends. Ground haitaki makasiriko. The only thing is don't take your drama to the next relationship," the talented news anchor said.

Right now, Trevor Ombija is fixing himself by taking fitness exercises to clear his mind.

"Those weights are heavy. There is no day the gym will say I don't love you anymore. You can count on that and not human beings," he said.
