Phoina Tosha has shared her story of being raised by a step-dad after her dad passed on.
Speaking to Massawe Japanni, Phoina said her dad passed on while she was young.
She was the only child but her mum got married again after the death of her dad.
Phoina was brought up by her mum and grandma. Asked if she missed having a sibling, Phoina said her mum is her best friend and she gave birth to her when she was 19 years old.
Asked about her dad, Phoina responded that her step-dad does not like being in the limelight but he supports her by all means.
"My mum was remarried and I have known her husband since I was in class two after my dad passed on," she said.
"He was there even during the launch, he doesn't like the limelight but he is supportive and there for me despite not being my blood dad. I got love from both parents."
