She said the first time she trended, she was affected but has since grown a thick skin.
"If you trend for the first time, the second time, it doesn't matter and it just goes. The first time, I was affected but the second one, I am laughing with you. It is a matter of realizing that people will always talk and have opinions about your life," she said.
"The majority of the stories put out there about me are inaccurate. I am always on the receiving end but I tell my friends and family, don't believe what you see and read online about me. You learn how to move on."
As a public figure, she said she has experienced both the good and bad sides of social media.
"Some like scandals so as to remain relevant, but there is a way creating scandals is not worth it.
personally, scandals and trolls are not worth my mental health. I would rather be me with my authentic 40k fans that we are together than just everyone."
She praised her family for being supportive.
"I have a very supportive family and they are not moved but things they read about me on social media. My mum is like, 'Give them more tea.' It is annoying but you know, it comes with the job I do and so, you have to accept. The way I am grown as a person is invariable. I regret the first trend. That broke my heart completely but is past that and I am living my life."
