Nigerian singer Joe Boy is not bothered by Eric Omondi's outburst about Nigerian musicians coming to Kenya.
In an interview with Kiss FM, Joe Boy said he goes where he is loved.
"People love me here and want to have me here...so I will go where the love is. I am not bothered about anybody trying to stop me. If I wasn't wanted here I wouldn't have been invited here," Joe Boy said.
The 'Alcohol' hitmaker who was in Kenya for the Afrojam festival last weekend rubbished the calls by Eric Omondi to prevent Nigerian stars from performing in Kenya.
In his interview, Joe Boy also expressed regrets in the criticism that his hit song Alcohol is receiving.
Joe Boy said his intention was not to promote alcohol consumption as seen in the viral challenge on social media.
"People were free to express themselves but I just feel they portrayed the song in a way that I did not plan it to be. I made the song to give people hope and relax," he said.
