Nigerian star Omah Lay speaks on why he loves Kenya

Nigerian singer Stanely Omah Didia, better known as Omah Lay is in Kenya for the Pizza and Wine Festival.

Being his first time in the country, Omah Lay says he is in love with his Kenyan fans. 

In 2020, the 'Understand' hitmaker was set for a tour in Kenya but could not make it due to COVID-19 restrictions 

"The love so far has been amazing and I am happy to be here. I wanted to come to Kenya because I get so much love here. I have a lot of fans.

I want to connect with my fans, it's not just about the money or publicity. I know I have so many fans in Kenya, I will do whatever to connect with them," said Omah Lay. 

The singer also spoke about his chances of doing a collab with Kenyan RnB star Otile Brown and releasing an album. 

"If we meet and the vibe is right I will definitely do something with him. I have an album coming up soon, its almost 90% done," he said.

The singer said he loves Kenya's Sauti Sol.
