Kiss FM radio presenter Mwalimu Rachel has given her fans an insight into how her parenthood journey is going, noting she has learned to be more intentional about activities her child enjoys instead of just planning an itinerary based on what she thinks will be fun.
Sharing on her Instagram stories the media personality, who gets her kid on the weekends as the baby daddy has him full time, gushed over the amazing weekend she had just had bonding with her son.
Heaping praises on her 10-year-old for helping mold her into becoming a better mother.
"I've really enjoyed and had a PACKED weekend!" Started off Rachel giddy with excitement as she accompanied the post with emojis.
Giving a little depth of how her weekend went down she added, "Heh! Going to Eldy, coming back and throwing a random party for my son and his neighbourhood pals... I'm tired! But I'm also so full of gratitude that I get to LIVE and be present.
"I'm more intentional about activities that he enjoys, and we can enjoy together."
Finishing up the radio presenter noted how grateful she was being able to experience this part of motherhood.
"He keeps teaching me how to be a mum. It takes time and I know another phase of our relationship will come, things never stay the same lo!! But I'm enjoying this Thank you Lord,"
