What are the odds of your parents and your spouse's parents both sharing names, yet you guys aren't related at all? Slim, I know right.
Well, our favourite celebrity couple Njugush and Wakavinye almost had a jump scare earlier on in their relationship when they encountered this.
Speaking about their relationship the mother of 2 started by admitting that she also gets incredibly surprised at how they ended up together. Noting she sometimes wonders what initially drew her to the creative genius quickly acknowledging his humour played a significant role.
"Hata sijui, hadi mi hujiuliza hiyo swali sahi... But he was very funny Tukiwa College. He had vibes," Cele said.
Once the vibes grew and their chemistry was undeniable the two started sharing tiny details about themselves. And that's where their world almost came crashing.
Ironical as it may seem because they are from two very different tribes the couple back then feared they might be siblings.
"Vibes zililock ikakuwa tu fiti until one day some questions came up. There's a day he told me his dad was called Bernard and I was like uko sure hujaona documents za wazazi wangu? Coz my dad is also called Bernard. Na mamako anaitwa nani, ati Jane... the same name as my mum's." Cele narrated dramatically as she walked down memory lane.
They had their doubts so as any logical grownups would do, they both went back to their roots and returned with physical evidence to confirm they were indeed not related in any way. Just a sheer coincidence that their parents share names.
Vibe session was back in class and the rest is history. The couple has been together for years and is blessed with two healthy baby boys.
