• The Finance Bill has seen an increased level of debate about the way the country is governed.

City preacher and life coach Robert Burale has voiced out his disappointment with most churches and religious leaders due to their deafening silence in regard to the ongoing public outcry calling for the rejection of the proposed 2024 Finance Bill.

While calling out religious leaders Burale pointed out it appeared ironic how the church chooses to speak out only when addressing the issues at hand is set to benefit them.

The father of one maintained silence was not an option at such a time, calling upon pastors and churches to make a stance and publicly announce whether they rejected or supported the finance bill as opposed to pretending they didn't see what was happening within the country.

"A lot is happening in the country, and it's obvious that the church is too silent," Burale stated in a video posted across his social media platforms.

He went on to add;

"I know it's a topic that many may not want to talk about. We like whispering and tiptoeing on matters church, but we are appearing as if we pick when it suits us, It doesn't matter which side of the political divide you support, but time has come. I believe, that we say boldly are we pro or against the finance bill. I do urge every pastor, it doesn't matter who you support or don't support."

Finishing up the flamboyant preacher highlighted the importance of treating politicians like ordinary people and denying them the chance to use the church as a ground to push their agendas or campaign for their courses.

"You also should not allow our politicians to mount our pulpits during the Sunday Service," Burale firmly stated.
