King Kaka has shared his mother is battling Lupus.
Lupus is an auto-immune disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your tissues and organs.
It is not curable, and can only be managed as it is an Autoimmune disease.
Autoimmune diseases are conditions in which your immune system mistakenly damages healthy cells in your body.
In a recent interview Kaka who grew up with his mum after losing his dad in grade 7 shared
“My mum’s illness is one thing that has always disturbed me. She is my heart and she has a disease called lupus, which is incurable.
One of my biggest worries is that she could be fine now, but in the evening she could be sick.
Before we knew it was lupus, she was treated for other things and got very sick,” Shared the father of two.
He said he felt helpless before his mum's illness was diagnosed as she was being treated for the wrong things.
“I felt I had access to money and God didn’t answer my prayers, so I became lonely because I couldn’t share with anyone,” he said.
In 2017, Kaka released the song 'Mama' which featured his mum.
