Tanzanian singer Zuchu has made history again after the dance video for her hit song Kwikwi clocked over 50 million views on YouTube
Zuchu video becomes the first song to achieve this milestone in East Africa. She is also the first female artiste to reach this new height
The WCB Signee has been setting and breaking her own records since being signed in 2020 by Diamond Platnumz.
“History continues to be written by Zuchu from WCB Wasafi Records. The first dance video ‘Kwikwi’ from East Africa to clock at over 50 million views,” read a post from Zuchu.
In March 2024, the WCB Signee also made another history after her song Sukari accumulated over 100, 000 million views on YouTube.
She became the first artiste from East Africa to achieve this milestone.
“History has been written today. Viewers Milioni 100,000,000 Za Sukari zinanifanya Kua msanii Wa Kwanza kutoka East Africa Kufika Mafanikio Haya Kwenye Wimbo wa peke yangu,” Zuchu said in post.
“#Sukari was and still is A masterpiece.Wimbo ulionibadilishia Maisha Kwa kiasi Kikubwa na leo umeandika Historia Kubwa kwenye Tasnia Ya muziki Afrika Mashariki 3 Years Ago we released a banger !! #SUKARI,”.
She also became the first solo artiste in East Africa to ever reach the milestone.
