Kenyan comedian Dem wa Facebook is single and not searching. The content creator admitted to not being interested in dating in an interview with YouTuber Martin Dean on Wednesday, March 27, where she referred to her past attempts at dating.
"Back then I was head over heels, aki love is blind, (hapo nyuma nilikuwanga blind, aki love is blind, watu nilikuwa nadate nikiwaaangalia hivi sitamani waseme tushawai date," she said about the difficulties she encountered.
Adding to her intense feelings of affection she said,
"Wanakaa vile wanataka, ata mungu alinisaidia siku waishika mimba saa hii watoto wangekuwa wanasumbua ma bursary kwa wanasiasa."
Romantic love is not something she wants to pursue currently.
"I will only get into a relationship if a doctor advises (Kutoa soko maybe ni advisiwe na daktari ama siku za usoni.)"
She insisted she was not looking for romance, "Saa hii sioni dalili."
In 2023, she declared her interest in a youthful Member of Parliament after he also announced that he was ready to date for marriage.
She has since changed her mind about the current dating pool in Kenya.
"Kwanza hii time ya mvua my friend nikatiwe na mwanaume ambaye hana gari? Niende nipake makeup nitoke kama Ambaer Ray, nitoke uko nioshwe uso, niruke ruke saa hio chali anaishi tenth floor, nyumba ya stairs, unless there is a lift, I rebuke that spirit usinitongoze."
She further explained her mood plus what would be her motivation to change her mind
"Saa hii niko single tu nangojea millionaire, unaskini haina trophy na ndio maana ukiolewa na bwana ya mtu ulilie Lavington."
"Ukikosana na mtu unafinya lift unarelax, lakini hii mambo ya kukosana na mtu huko kwa bedsitter!! unakaa watchman, unakimbia kidogo asha kuweka kofi ya mgongo (lauging) heh siwezi."
