Noriega Don, the ex-manager to singer Otile Brown is a fashionable man who dresses to impress, according to statements he makes when out in public.
Appearing in an interview with Oga Obinna, he said that he values style and fashion.
The RKC label CEO bought a Lexus in 2023 and he is out here explaining why he invested so much money in the ride.
"Sometimes it's not about the money really, and also usininune vitu alafu vitu zingine zikwame. Lazima ujipange," Don said.
Obinna told him that the news went viral and he too was impressed.
"But I thought that the Lexus was a celebration for the record label?" Obinna weighed in
Noriega denied this "No the Lexus 570 was...."he sighed "I feel like it was just it was...I feel like it was kinda petty in a way the reason like why I bought the Lexus" he expressed himself
This caught Obinna's attention.
"Oh, people buy Lexus out of pettiness? I wanna be petty too!!" the media personality said.
Noriega said there were other reasons as to why he acquired the car.
"The President you know, his Excellency Ruto, he inspired me to buy the Lexus. I dont think there's anybody in Kenya who has bought a Lexus if you didn't see it first from the President. So when ..and then I've never been the type to want like big cars, and then," Obinna enquired
"No, no no for me like, number one I will say I've never been the type to want like big cars, I like me like a nice Lamborghini Mercedes Benz, but you know when the President won the Presidency and then he came through in the Black SUV, and I looked at it and was like if I was dressed in a nice proper suit and I was just coming out of it, I would just look good on that thing,"
He reflected on the second reason.
"So and then also my ex who was kind of my fiancée I just saw some nice like she kinda got married. That's why I'm saying it was just some petty reason "
Obinna demanded clarification "So you bought a Lexus because your ex got married?"
Noriega said "Not really though there was so much going on, ".
Obinna was not convinced "It has nothing to do with Pres Ruto saying that you saw that your ex has moved on n ukakasirika,"
A third reason he got the Lexus was for business purposes. He said he felt it drew respect.
Noriega continues to say "But also I will tell you what. The trajectory of my business was scaling too I just needed to have a Lexus"
