Kenyan superstar, Sossun, has demanded an apology from Tanzanian rapper Rosa Ree.
Last year, Ree released a diss track targeting Kenyan rappers before she jetted into the country for a media tour.
Months later, Sosuun clapped back at Ree, "She said Kenya is her country and she runs the hip-hop here."
"I can't go to the US where Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are and say I run the place and it is my place. Yes, you can diss but you can't go there and take them as fools in their turf."
Sosuun aka Mistari Tycoon said she didn't take the matter lightly "You owe an apology to Kenyan rapper because that has affected the game and it's my right to protect the game. Kenyan rappers respect women so that's why people didn't respond to you. You can't come here and degrade our game. You got nothing on Kenyan rappers."
The 'Kufunikwa' hitmaker captioned her video describing it as a public announcement that 'nobody will ever walk into the 254 Rap scene and act like they run this town.'
"This will never go unpunished unless an apology is given to the 254 industry. Listen, we might keep quiet but watu si anyone.... Yโall can see that our rap game has been affected negatively by this crap, Chile u outta your mind to ever come into our country and say โKanairo ni yanguโ How? #Kanairo gani? You need to know the real meaning of hiphop and itโs culture, look, ushauri upewe vizuuuri kwanza before you embark on this coz you know better not to say anything out of respect cuzzzz Walahiiiiii!!!๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ I expect to pass my message and for you to take it #Rosa and let this boat sink tafadhalii, tafadhaliiii tu๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ."
