Jowie Irungu releases song, as Maribe protests after court verdict over Monica Kimani murder

Hours after a court postponed the case against Jowie Irungu and Jackie Maribe, Irungu has released a love song.

The song dubbed Babie reassures a woman that it's going to be alright, according to the lyrics.

"Sikuamini amesema kitu nako kameisha, na hio stori yeye hataki kusikia, babie hold on, its gonna be alright its gonna be alright.

"Babie don't go its gonna be alright, ata kesho ukicome usichoke baby hold on, its gona be alright. "

When the song premiered on his you tube channel, he left a message that read

"Babie love is a gift, it's all I have for you."

The vocals as well are rather emotional and paint a picture of a man fighting to keep his relationship.

Jacque Maribe on her part shared a picture of a bouquet of flowers, mostly pink and red ahead of the court appearance.

She captioned it

"How to start your morning when stressed over court" she wrote

Adding

"It needs to stop but also this is too much., This is not Kenya Justice Grace Nzioka justice delayed is justice denied.

Stop putting peoples lives at limbo. If I am not capable If not I am tired of this" she protested the delay.

The judgment has now been pushed to January 26, 2024.

In the picture we also get to see Jacque wearing an engagement ring on her left hand. The red, pink and white flowers mirrored the color of her outfit.
