He contended that the person in the viral pictures wasn't him, pointing out that the subject of the pictures was a fraud pretending to be him.
"Ati Pete na Saa Imedo?π₯±π... (now what has the ring and watch done?)" began as the father of five addressed the rumours surrounding their relationship.
He continued by saying that the images posted online were solely the work of an impostor who was anxious to mimic his style and start rumours.
The performer made light of the situation and begged the aforementioned "imposters" to cease.
But after he highlighted that the guy who "was not him" even had an arm that exactly matched his, fans and internet sleuths were not persuaded.
And as everyone knows, clout is always on the agenda when it comes to celebrities in the media.
"I know there are imposters out there trying to copy my style and swag. Guys, stop.
Yaani mtu ametafuta Pete na watch hadi mkono ametafuta yenye inafanana na yangu (you want to tell me that someone has looked for a ring and watch and even gone as far as looking for a hand that looks like mine) surely...guys stop it.π€," the rest of his post read.
Here is what a few Instagram users had to say in relation to this;
Kimathi timoh: Mtu unyamaza apigwe gossip, sasa ata umeharibu. Methinks it's all clout ju niko sure hauna inches za kuendesha ile gariππ
Kui.Kiarie: asante kwa confirmation
Anastacia_wa_nduta: Watu sio wajinga bwana πππππ
