A Kenya Army officer on Tuesday tripped and fell as he escorted the visiting Monarch to their vehicle, at State House, Nairobi.

In a video seen by the Star, the soldier who was part of those accompanying King Charles III and Queen Camilla as Aide de Camp.

She was seen rushing towards the car when she tripped and fell.

The officer was rushing to open the door for Queen Camilla as they prepared to leave State House Nairobi for Uhuru Gardens.

After the fall, the female officer picked herself up immediately and rushed to open the Queen's door.

The incident happened shortly after the King and Queen were done with planned activities at State House.

Earlier, the King who is in Kenya for a four-day State Visit had been accorded a 21-gun salute by the Kenya Defence Forces.

He also inspected a guard of honour as is tradition, whenever a leader of a foreign country visits Kenya.
