Nominated senator Karen Nyamu is going down memory lane - reminiscing on the period she was chosen to be part of the Miss Kenya beauty pageant thanks to her height.
Nyamu credited events organizer Chris Kirwa who according to her, was convinced they had found the winner of that year's pageant.
Nyamu revealed;
"When in Law school, I was scouted for the Miss Kenya beauty contest. Because of my height and bust waist hips coordinate, @chriskirwa and team were convinced they had found that year’s winner. I took some modeling lessons where I learnt to walk as I twist my hips like this," revealed Nyamu on Instagram
Thanks to Karen's dad, she did not go through with her dream as she was advised to prioritize education.
"Eventually Mr Nyamu told me to choose between school and nonsense😆 Mboka ikazima hivo 😆," Nyamu added.
